Which class is aragorn

Aragorn is a human non-variant Ranger, who takes on the Hunter subclass at level three. Aragorn has lived in the wild for years, but he is still starting out from the bottom at the beginning of the campaign.

The player should focus on raising Aragorn's CHA stat as he levels up, to show his progression into his destined role as king. In terms of background, Aragorn would be an Outlander.

While he was raised in Rivendell, he became a Ranger in his teens and spent many years living in the wilderness. His alignment would fall squarely into Lawful Good. Post by Xabloyan » Sun Dec 21, pm. Please read the announcements in this forum before posting. I know that Aragorn was supposed to be the model for the ranger class; he is a Dunedain "Ranger of the North".

But if you look at what he does in LotR, I wonder if he wasn't more of a paladin. Granted, he did have great tracking ability, a way with animals, and some sort of "danger sense"; but he hardly had any druidic or arcane magic, didn't use a bow that much, and wasn't a two-weapon fighter.

However, he did have some healing ability especially after he accepted his destiny to be King of Gondor and was able to hold his own against the undead Nazgul and the Oathbreakers.

I wonder what would be the best way to simulate the "real" Aragorn in game terms. Any thoughts? It's a later development. Also, the original version of Strider in Tolkien's drafts was a wild hobbit named Trotter.

Read more here: Tolkien's Wild Hobbits. Of course a few Men are able to join too. Totally based on Trotter. I agree with Vuzzmop. I think it's a pointless exercise, for which I personally don't see the fun. Then why post in this thread? If you don't find it fun don't do it, just don't try to stop others from having their fun, ya killjoy. As an off topic aside surprise surprise, Charity wandering aimlessly through the thread I am often surprised by the regularity of posters whom feel the need to express their lack of interest in something It's like ringing up to vote maybe on a phone poll As to Aragorn's class I couldn't give a monkies :smallwink: this post is entirely comprised of ferrous material.

Aragorn's got tracking and survival skill in spades in spades, is an excellent warrior, leader likely a function of Aragorn's charisma and a competent caster of the subtle nature magic. He showed the ability to fight with two weapons, but certainly didn't make a point of it.

Just to clarify, from the beggining my expression of dislike of this thread has to do with the fact that I see topics like these all the time in the rest of the subforums other than this, and so I don't think this fits here. I'm not the one to say it because I'm no mod, but I think this kind of discussion fits better among related ones either at Media Discussion or Gaming threads. Where I guess this probably has been brought over ten million times already.

But you're right, it's not my intention to kill your joy debating this topic. Please go on, don't mind me. Grima - I'd say he's more of a siggy enemy Theoden - Definitely captain Gollum - Burg.

Actually he was a better burg than any of the hobbits. Sneaky little bugger. More topics from this board Updating is finally fixed. Hiding the Skills tooltip?
